Recently, my 7-year-old son wants to wake up early like me because he wants to spend his morning time for his favorite activities like reading comics, drawing, making something, and so on.
But he woke up at 5:40am yesterday.
I told him:
"It's still too early. Aren't you sleepy?"
"I couldn't sleep anymore because it was a little cold."
He answered.
I told him:
"But the living room is also a little cold. Maybe you should sleep in the futon(blanket)."
"But it is a little hot in the futon."
"Hot? Didn't you say it was a little cold? Anyway, you should sleep more."
"I got it. I will slepp again so please wake me up at 6:30."
He went back to his futon.
I tried to wake him up at 6:30am. but he was not able to wake up.
10 minutes later, I tried to wake him up again.
He came to the living room.
After a while, he went to the bed room again, then he woke my 5-year-old daughter up and took her to the living room.
"Wow! You woke her up! Thank you so much! It is always hard for me to wake her up. She often gets angry with me even though I am only waking her up."
They started having breakfast around 7am and finished at 7:30am.
It is not so rare for my son to finish breakfast at that time because he always leaves for school at 7:45am.
But it is quite unusual for my daughter to finish breakfast at 7:30am.
She eats breakfast very slowly.
I often want to leave home to take her to the nursery school at 8:30am, but she is often still eating breakfast at 8:20am.
"Wow! Both of you finished breakfast early! You have a lot of time until we go to the nursery school. I am really glad. I don't have to tell you "Hurry up!" today."
My daughter was glad to hear that.
She changed her clothes and started tying her hair even though she has short hair.
I thought that's what it's like to a be girl.

Should be:

Reason: I am unsure if it should be any more or anymore. I would tend to use anymore but I will leave you this link, either way I don't think it is that important either way:

Also: When you have a sentence that you are quoting that has another quote inside of it you can often use single speech marks for the inner quote:
"If a have to say 'hurry up' to you two again there will be trouble"

Reason: The above like is grammatically correct but would be more likely to be said as:
I thought that's what it's like to a be girl.
Or:
I thought that's how girl's are.
Or:
I thought that's my girl.
Or:
I thought girls will be girls
Note: Both "that's my girl" and "girls will be girls" are very common English idioms.

I found some websites, it said "any more" means additional; more, and "anymore" means any longer; nowadays; presently still now or fro now on.
Do you think it gets to the point?
I also found sites that said similar things, so for example:
DeleteI don't want to eat (any more/additional) carrots or I will turn orange (In this sentence the person is currently in the process of eating the carrots and has decided to stop eating because he has eaten enough carrots)
Vs
I don't eat carrots (anymore/any longer) as I found out they can turn me orange (In this sentence the person decided at some point in the past that he would not eat carrots anymore/any longer).
What I have been able to find on the subject of anymore vs any more, leads me to believe that opinions are divided on the issues of the difference between the two spellings. So I would say that it is ok to use whichever spelling you find most convenient. The different between the two versions is so small and subtle as to not worry about. And on the occasions where the difference may matter it is better to use a different set words or a different arrangement of words to make the difference clear.
Examples:
Rather than using anymore (and hoping that the person reading knows that means or can mean any longer you can just use any longer
I don't eat carrots anymore
vs.
I don't eat carrots any loner (any longer is more specific and clearer and less likely to cause confusion as to your meaning.)
Or:
I no longer eat carrots (different arrangement of words exact same meaning)
The same goes for any more (or any other similar word):
I don't want any more cookies or I will turn into a koala! (here the meaning would be completely obvious to the native English reader what you mean but if for some strange reason they look at any more and interpret the meaning as anymore which I suppose it could be confusing (but I doubt it), so in that case avoid the problem entirely by rewriting the sentence as:
I don't want (additional/extra) cookies or I will turn into a koala!
Or:
I have had enough cookies, if I eat more of them I will turn into a koala!
So this is a long winded way of say if you are not sure (and I have to say I am not sure about the issues either) you can avoid the issue by using different words which mean the same things.
